CFDA award winning jewelry designer, Justin Giunta (Subversive Jewelry) made headlines again this week when he teamed with Dr. Martens to create four exclusive pairs of one-of-a-kind Subversive style boots. With heavy chains intermingled with delicate ones, earbud style shoelaces and other creative and artistic additions, these boots definitely follow the urban-glamour self-contradictory spirit of Subversive Jewelry.
The four pairs were featured exclusively during Art Basel Miami Beach, one of the most important art shows in the country. We didn't make it out there, but we sure would have loved to see those boots first hand. They look great, and I'm sure they sound great too! "Jingle, jingle, jingle...."
