Suzanna Dai’s Alexandria button gold earrings are Egyptian Inspired, with gold embroidery, and plenty of sparkle packed into a neat little package. The soft, leather backed earrings rest beautifully on the ear without being too heavy, or obtrusive. The posts are Gold plated sterling silver.

What I love most about these earrings is just how versatile they are. My instinct when I first opened the box was to pair them with my classic little black dress and wear them to an upcoming dinner. After the initial excitement, and a discussion with Suzanna herself, I started to get creative with my earring pairings.

Since the earrings have a real presence, and frame the face nicely, I wouldn’t put them with a chunky necklace, but I would go for a more delicate chain, something long and neutral. I chose to pair it with a long gold knotted chain, and it really went well. Alternatively, I might have done a bare neck, with a chunky gold cuff. Perhaps I would put it together with this cuff, also by Suzanna Dai.

Besides the navy jacket which I chose to pair the earrings with in the video, I might try a shirt like this one if I wanted to stick with the nautical look, or if I was going to a more formal event and trying to stay away from the LBD, I would love to try pairing it with an avocado green, like this.  

HELLOOOO, SPRING!!!! Can you imagine how fantastic the earrings would be with that dress and a great cuff?
